ADRIAN MARINOVICH
(January 9, 1052 – April 13, 2011)

Adrian Marinovich was the founding partner of Los Angeles law firm Maas and Marinovich, Inc. (formerly Navarro, Maas and Marinovich).  As a recognized expert in the fields of litigation, mediation and negotiation, he had spent over 27 years solving difficult problems in business, law and related interpersonal relationships.

It was his practice of the law and teaching experiences that drew him to the field of psychology in order to better serve the often expressed needs of his clients that could not be solved by the law alone. Adrian did his Psychotherapy internship training at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Department of Psychiatry, Early Childhood Center. He also served as a Psychotherapist Intern at the Hollywood-Sunset Free Clinic. His unique educational background coupled with his own ascent from a troubled childhood had been the foundation of his discovery of the universal hero person.  His own experience and success in the areas of law, entrepreneurship, real estate and psychology were a model for the achievements he continues to inspire in others.

Adrian has successfully identified the problems, issues, obstacles, conflicts and patterns that restrict growth and happiness. It was his goal to inspire, motivate and empower every individual to make that private discovery for himself.  Through a deep personal understanding of self-imposed limitations, he guided each client to the practical application of effective and productive strategies and options for their lives.

By showing each client how to accept, overcome and be rewarded by negative life experiences and to identify, reinforce and be grateful for the positive experiences, Adrian opened the path for each of them to demonstrate his or her own “Hero Journey” with courage, clarity, specificity and purpose.  By eliminating forever the option of living out of fear, guilt  and obligation, a truly joyful life begins.  Adrian’s mission was to inspire everyone to live in their preferred, higher selves…..powerful and free.

As a speaker, lawyer, psychotherapist and personal empowerment coach, Adrian had conducted workshops for the Internal Revenue Service, graduate students at the University of Southern California, Aerospace Employees Association and other companies and organizations in how to live without debt, the psychology of money and how to overcome fear and live a prosperous life.

Adrian Marinovich held a BBA degree from Loyola Marymount University, MA degrees in Spiritual Psychology  and in Counseling Psychology from the University of Santa Monica, an MPA degree from the University of Southern California, a Juris Doctorate from Whittier Law School. He was a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, Consumer Attorneys of California and Optimist International.  He also served on the board of the 911 Help America Foundation, a non-political, non-denominational, not for profit 501c3 organization ID # 80-0115715. Adrian was appointed as a Superior Court arbitrator and mediator in both Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties.  Adrian lived most of his life in Los Angeles. He shared the last nine years of his life with his loving wife Anya.
